Chef de Rang / Section Waiter - Immediate Start - Fine Dining  Epsom

As a Chef de Rang you will be working within our fine dining restaurant - Stirlings,  ensuring that a warm welcoming environment is created for our Members at all times. You will be responsible for the smooth running of your section whilst working as part of an effecient team to ensure our Members have an enjoyable experience.

The role will see you:

• Overseeing and assisting members of staff in order to provide exemplary service.

• Preparing your section to high standards, ensuring all mise en place is correct, carrying out daily schedules and collecting required items from stores.

• Engaging in polite conversation with members and guests, anticipating their needs and making informed recommendations.

• Receiving, and passing on for action, all comments, compliments and complaints.

• Ensuring that all orders are recorded and put through the EPOS system accurately, that itemised bills are presented and that payments are received and processed correctly.

The Person

To succeed, you must be a real team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to converse with members, in English. You should also possess:

• A basic food hygiene certificate, ideally backed up by an NVQ or equivalent in Food Service/Customer Service. • Previous Chef de Rang or Senior Waiting experience.

• Customer service experience in a quality restaurant, preferably including knowledge of electronic point of sale.

• High standards of presentation and attention to detail.
