Lounge Waiter to start immediately, Woodcote Park, Epsom

We are looking for a welcoming and professional Lounge Waiter to help provide the perfect environment for members to relax or entertain guests at our clubhouse in Epsom, Surrey.

The Royal Automobile Club embodies both the rich history of British motoring and the best tradition of private members’ clubs - prestigious yet always welcoming. As a Lounge Waiter, you will play an important part in achieving and surpassing these standards.

The role will see you:

  • Aiming for exemplary levels of service, hospitality and hygiene.
  • Ensuring all food is served perfectly, including snacks in the lounge areas and to the rooms.
  • Cashing up after lunch and dinner, and investigating any shortages
  • Contributing to the wider Club team, including keeping on top of cleaning and maintenance issues.

The Person – To succeed, you should be extremely polite and presentable, good at managing your own time and productivity, and able to follow any instructions or requests from senior staff, as well as from our members and their guests. Ideally you will also have:

  • Previous training in food hygiene and/or food service.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
