Are you a professional, reliable and courteous individual who always goes the extra mile? If so, the prestigious Royal Automobile Club is looking for a Club Shop Assistant and Post Office Sub Postmaster to join our team and assist members and guests buying merchandise from the shop and/or requiring Post Office services.

About this exciting opportunity

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this key role will see you undertake a broad range of duties, including managing and controlling stocks of all goods and carrying out quarterly stock takes, verifying all deliveries, and taking full responsibility for all financial-related transactions, ensuring the accuracy of the float
and takings.

You will also be expected to ensure the bookstall and shop displays are laid out correctly each day, prepare all departmental daily newspapers and magazines orders for collection and delivery, plus make sure post office transactions are carried out and adhered to in accordance to the manual of standard operating procedures.

What we are looking for

You will have at least 12 months’ experience working in a luxurious environment and have received comprehensive customer service and telephone techniques training. Well presented, efficient and calm under pressure, you will have a good command of English and be able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
