As the Sports and Wellbeing Manager for the Royal Automobile Club, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for six direct reports whilst ensuring you deliver a successful operation across both Pall Mall and Woodcote Park clubhouses. Through the careful coordination of our programmes and services within Sports and Wellbeing and the delivery of service and financial results, you will reflect the quality standards established by the Royal Automobile Club.

Your main duties will include:

  • Oversee the operations of the Sports and Spa areas at Pall Mall and Woodcote Park ensuring that Leading Quality Assurance standards are adhered to at all times
  • Providing a memorable experience for members and guests, going above and beyond and inspiring the team to do the same
  • Implement and evolve achievable sales targets for Sports and Spa areas and manage all costs in line with budget
  • To be au fait with the latest industry trends and drive the offering at the Club in order to achieve high and consistent member/guest satisfaction
  • Contribute towards strategic objectives of the Club and where appropriate, lead on the development of those goals  
  • Support activity groups

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Sports & Spa Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a 5* environment. You will be a natural leader with the ability to inspire and influence others and will act as an ambassador for the Royal Automobile Club. As a confident and established people manager, you will implement training and development initiatives for your management team, ensuring they convey  ‘Leadership Values’ and continually look for ways to support them in developing and motivating their operational teams in becoming future leaders of the Royal Automobile Club.
