If you have experience of restaurant management/supervision, this Assistant Restaurant Manager role within the fast paced and busy Fountain Brasserie based in Woodcote Park, Epsom could be a perfect opportunity. We’re seeking an inspirational, hands-on individual for this key hospitality role.

The Role: As Assistant Restaurant Manager you will operate as part of the Restaurant Management team and be responsible for ensuring that your staff group is motivated, enthusiastic and happy in their work. The main aim is to ensure that our Members and guests are provided with the utmost professionalism by friendly and attentive staff, and you will drive the highest standards by combining your experience of working in modern restaurants with your ability to lead by example and inspire the team to reach goals together.

The Person: Experience of managing a busy restaurant team is essential as you will need to demonstrate the ability to take responsibility for back office tasks and duties that ensure we have enough staff to cover rotas and that orders are completed and stocks maintained. You should also possess Level 1 & 2 qualification in basic food hygiene, preferably with an NVQ in food service and bar work, and/or an NVQ in customer service. We are seeking proven experience of bar service and awareness of licensing laws, ideally including wine knowledge/WSET Level 2 qualification.
